We're more than a bit disappointed! It had been rumoured on a number of occasions that Nicole Scherzinger and Ed Sheeran may be romantically linked, but alas, it sounds like it's not meant to be.

Nicole, who split from Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton earlier this year, has stated that she’s just “good mates” with the Thinking Out Loud singer and has dismissed any notions of a romantic fling. “It had been going on for so long and Ed and I are good mates, so we decided to just have fun and take the mick,” she explained to The Huffington Post, adding that they had posted a cryptic post on Instagram together, implying that they had broken up.
