It’s not often that the One Direction boys go off in separate… ahem, directions, but Niall Horan has momentarily taken a break from the hit group to perform at a very special occasion.
The Irish Independent are reporting that the Mullingar native has returned to his hometown, to perform at his older brother’s wedding this weekend.
Grey Horan, 26, is set to marry his fiance Denise Kelly in the local parish church at 1pm tomorrow afternoon, and Niall has flown in from the UK especially to act as best man. The 19-year-old popstar has been busy touring the UK but luckily, One Direction have no dates scheduled this week.
And, although extra security have been brought in to help control the inevitable gangs of screaming teenage girls, fans hoping to see the five-piece will be disappointed.
Don’t they scrub up well…
Greg told the paper that he also invited Niall’s bandmates Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson to the wedding.
“I invited the boys out of respect for Niall because they’re his best friends, not for any other reason,” Greg said. “We’re not sure if they’ll make it though.”
Talk about upstaging the bride…
