Serena Williams jets off on honeymoon (and she’s brought her baby)

She blew us away wearing Alexander McQueen (and later Versace) on her wedding day.

And now - three days after saying 'I do' to Alexis Ohanian in New Orleans - Serena Williams, 36, has jetted off on honeymoon.

After the glamour of her big day (THREE bespoke designer dresses is pretty glamorous) the tennis pro opted to travel in a comfy grey tracksuits, black cap, and runners (a woman after our own hearts, so). She and her 34-year-old new husband took a private jet to their destination - believed to be an uber-private island resort in the Caribbean.

They've taken their adorable two-month old baby daughter, Olympia, along with them too... making the holiday a real family affair.

Alexis, an internet entrepreneur, had worn Armani on Thursday for the nuptials, but packing off on honeymoon he was also pretty casual: a black t-shirt and jeans with a red and gold Redskins cap.

 He's evidently completely smitten with Serena too; during his wedding vows he gushed:

"You are the greatest of all time, not just in sport. I’m talking about as a mother and as a wife. I am so excited to write so many more chapters of our fairy tale together. "And my whole life I didn’t even realize it, but I was waiting for this moment. "And everything that I have done, everything that I am so proud of in my career, and in my life, for the last 34 years, pales in comparison to what we’re doing today. And I am so grateful, and I am so in love."

The wedding had a Beauty And The Beast French ball theme, and the four long tables for guests were named after Grand Slam tournaments (Serena has won all four on a record 39 separate occasions).

Serena and Alexis had chosen their wedding date in order to honour the groom's mother - who died nine years ago; November 16 is her birthday. Guests in attendance included Kim Kardashian, Beyoncé Knowles, Eva Longoria, Kelly Rowland, Ciara, Caroline Wozniacki, and Anna Wintour.

The couple met by chance in Rome - the same city where they got engaged 18 months later.
