Way too excited for this.

Sarah Jessica Parker has opened up about Kim Cattrall’s cameo in season two of And Just Like That, and shared new details of what we can expect.

Despite Sarah and Kim’s years long feud, Kim is returning to the series in a cameo at the end of the season, and now the Carrie actress has given more details on how she will appear in the show.

It was confirmed earlier this month that Kim would be making a cameo appearance in the spin off series And Just Like That for the upcoming season after filming a “cliffhanger” scene.

Kim claimed she would never want to be part of the show, and has now filmed her scene in a separate location from her other cast mates due to their alleged feud.

According to The Daily Mail, the scene is set to see Carrie Bradshaw on a phone call with Samantha Jones.

Despite their years long feud, Sarah has now spoken about Kim’s return to the show, as well as Aidan Shaw also making an appearance.

Sarah has since told E! News: “The idea emerged because of the 25 years and wanting to celebrate that, but also acknowledge the affection that we had for Samantha—that we continue to have.

“She’s been present on the show in text form, so it just seemed such a nice way to put a face to the text, and just have a moment.

“It’s a very sweet, sentimental phone call that happens in a particular time in Carrie’s life. And it’s just punctuated by this phone call. I hope people enjoy it.”

Recently speaking about Kim’s appearance in the upcoming series, Sarah told The Daily Mail: “We’ve been really thoughtful about the ways in which we’ve approached characters that hadn’t been around, the ways we have invited actors back.

“It’s been really fun and exciting and certainly nostalgic. But I think more than that, it’s been a lot of joy.”

And Just Like That returns to NOW and Sky Atlantic in the UK & Ireland from June 22nd.
