Every day a new celebrity is giving birth or announcing that she is pregnant and at Her.ie towers we can’t get enough of it!
If we’re not guessing the names of new celebrity babies we’re swooning over the latest images of them. Baby fever has officially set in and it’s contagious.
But there would be no babies without them so we’ve constructed a list of our favourite celebrity mums.
- Una Healy – We just had to kick off this list with a new Irish mummy! We really don’t know how she does it. Not only is Una Healy mum to little Aoife but she is also a member of one of the hottest girl bands out at the moment and has just gotten married to rugby player Ben Foden. Then again if our baby was as cute, we’d find a way!
- Jessica Alba – She may be one of Hollywood’s hottest but Jessica proves that at heart she is just a normal mum. Taking breaks between films and other promotional work, Alba is often seen dropping her kids off to school and heading out to the park with them. So cute!
- Sandra Bullock – At Her.ie we didn’t think we could love Sandra Bullock anymore. Not only is she a fabulous actress (did you see The Blindside?!) but she also kicked that love rat Jesse James to the kerb when it was discovered that he cheated on her. As if that’s not enough it’s obvious she gives her all to being a mother to adopted son Louis.
- Charlize Theron – With two very high-profile films about to be released, it’s a wonder Charlize Theron has time at the moment for her adopted son Jackson. But she does and she’s been gushing about how he has changed her life. How sweet!
- Amanda Holden – In what has to be one of the most dramatic celebrity births ever, Amanda Holden is now a mother of two and is looking better than ever. The Britain’s Got Talent judge has had problems with pregnancies in the past and we’re just happy that everything worked out in the end for her.
- Reese Witherspoon – Oscar-winner Reese proved recently that just because you’re pregnant doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a bit of light exercise. Spotted practising her forehand on the tennis court, the Texas-born actress is also mum to Ava and Deacon from her first marriage. Don’t tell her but we plan on stealing those names!
- Sarah Jessica Parker – Star of Sex and the City, SJP is a mother to three and spoke openly about having her twins through a surrogate. At Her.ie we admire her for that. It also helps that we can admire her unique style all at the same time!
- Michelle Obama – She is arguably one of the most important women in the world right now but First Lady Michelle Obama still makes time for her daughters. The Obama girls were seen out recently at a Beyoncé concert singing and dancing along to her hits. Perhaps we better follow by example: “Oh Mum…”
- Holly Willoughby – The reason we love Holly Willoughby is because she has always celebrated her curves including her baby bump when she was pregnant. But let’s face it, with a body like that, we can’t blame her!
- Evanne Ni Chuilinn – It only seems right, after beginning with one, that we finish with an Irish mum as well. The RTE sports journalist and, more importantly Her.ie contributor, recently gave birth to an adorable baby boy proving that women can have the best of both worlds!
