This is how much Jack Maynard will lose following I’m A Celeb controversy

"I deleted my tweets and they still come up..."

Denise Curtin

Uh-oh!

It looks like Jack Maynard’s childhood tweets are costing him dearly.

First, he was basically evicted from the jungle and now he is set to loose a fortune each month due to his homophobic and racial tweets from when he was 17-years-old.

The YouTuber made headlines two weeks ago after tweets resurfaced while he was on I’m A Celeb. The tweets include sensitive and offensive material which caused him his place on I’m A Celeb and forced him to face his past and make a public apology.

And the star did just that, in an emotional interview he said:

“There’s absolutely no excuse for what I said. I don’t know what I was thinking in ever posting anything like that online. I am truly, truly, truly sorry about all of the past comments I made.”

“They’re totally unacceptable and I’m praying that people learn from this and don’t make the same mistakes that I did — really think about what you’re going to do and how many people it could hurt.”

And now it has been revealed by The Sun, that the star is set to loose a staggering €20,000 a month due to the termination of his deals with The Body Shop, Snickers, and Walkers Crisps.

Which makes us think… how much was this guy earning to begin with?

Jack hopes that this terrible outcome will teach younger generations to be careful with what they post online.

He said:

“You’ve really got to think about everything you’re posting online — it leaves such a footprint, it’s there for ever if you say it online. I deleted my tweets and they still come up. If I can be used as an example and people can learn from my mistakes, then great.”

“Everyone’s just got to sit back and think about everything that they’re going to be saying online, not just be in the moment and say something that ultimately they will regret, possibly for the rest of their life.”
