According to reports Jay-Z and Beyoncé bought daughter Blue Ivy a Barbie for her first birthday. But it wasn’t just any old Barbie, it was one worth £50,000 (over €60,000).
Blue Ivy celebrated her first birthday recently and was given a Barbie.
We know, how could a doll ever cost that much? We reckoned she must have come in a Porsche or something!
And while it wasn’t a car, she was said to have over one hundred diamonds as well as white gold jewellery. How would a one-year-old even gage that?
The couple went all out to mark their daughter’s special day.
According to The Sun Blue Ivy was also treated to a Princess-themed party from which the guests went away with a goodie bag filled with concert tickets and gold pens.
And there we grew up thinking that a cuddly toy, a rattle and a slice of birthday cake was a good first birthday!
