This year’s I’m a Celebrity has been plagued with controversy including Brian Conely and Helen Flanagan’s post-jungle meltdowns and Eric Bristow’s camp bullying.
More criticism followed Wednesday’s show when the campmates were required to play a game, which would decide whether or not they got to see their family.
Each celebrity had a loved one hidden behind one of five doors and viewers were outraged when Charlie Brooks’ seven year old daughter was left disappointed after her mother failed to win a challenge.

Viewers argued that it was cruel to get the child’s hopes up and she had to be consoled when her mum failed to ‘win her’.
After the complaints producers of the ITV show conveniently arranged for handwritten letters to be posted into the jungle and yesterday offered campmates the opportunity to win a phone call to one family member.

The remaining celebrities were required to play a game of darts in order to win one coveted phone call. The stars then decided to give the prize to Eastenders’ star Charlie taking into account her devastation earlier in the week.
The actress couldn’t get to the phone quick enough and squealed with delight upon hearing her daughter’s voice.
“I miss you mummy, you are doing really well, you have lost a lot of weight, I’ve been watching and I can’t tell you how proud I am of you,” said Kiki.

“You are the best mummy, you will win it now, I want to be the princess of the jungle! I love you!”
Meanwhile, Eric Bristow became the latest celebrity to leave the jungle amidst speculation that rouge editing purposely portrayed him in a negative light.

Charlie Brooks, Ashley Roberts and David Haye are the only remaining celebrities in camp and the winner will be crowned on Sunday night.
