In her latest YouTube vlog, the 25-year-old influencer spoke about her struggles with low morale, co-parenting after her split with boxer Tommy Fury, and her concerns over Bambi’s recent behaviour.
Molly-Mae, who ended her relationship with Fury in August, revealed that her daughter has started exhibiting some "bizarre" and "frustrating" habits.
While her toddler has been adjusting well to nursery, attending one day a week to socialise with other kids, her behaviour at home has become an issue.
“Morale is a tiny bit low this morning, just a tiny bit,” Molly-Mae admitted.
“Bambi has hurt my feelings over the last couple of days. This morning was a little bit frustrating too.”
The Maebe founder explained that Bambi has started hitting and grabbing her face and neck.
“Yesterday, she left a nail mark in my face from grabbing me,” Molly-Mae shared.
“She squeezes my neck so hard and digs her nails in. It’s like she knows she’s doing it to hurt, which is so bizarre.”
The influencer said she’s unsure where Bambi might have picked up the new habit. “Is this part of the terrible twos? She’s not even two yet. I’ve been questioning if this is something I’ve caused,” she said.
Molly-Mae also described her efforts to correct it, saying Bambi often laughs and repeats the actions after being told it’s not acceptable.
“She understands the word ‘no’ and knows what she’s doing is wrong, but she does it on purpose to get a reaction,” Molly-Mae explained.
The young mum sought advice from others on how to deal with the issue but admitted she’s received conflicting suggestions.
“Some people say to completely ignore it so she doesn’t get a reaction, but that’s hard when she’s physically hurting me. Others suggest time-outs or introducing a naughty step, but she’s so young. I’m not sure she’d fully understand that yet,” she said.
“It’s deflating because I’m so big on teaching her kindness,” she went on to say. “I just don’t know where this behavior has come from.”
Molly-Mae’s candid reflection struck a chord with her 1.9 million YouTube subscribers, many of whom praised her openness about the realities of parenting.
