Zoe-Rae Hague suffered a severe reaction from the Botox

Zoe-Rae Hague has revealed she has suffered a reaction from Botox, months after having the first severe reaction.

On Monday, Hague explained why she won’t be posting on YouTube for some time.

Covering her eyes with sunglasses, Hague explains that she wanted to try Botox again, and unfortunately, got a reaction in her eye.

The 28-year-old spoke about her first Botox treatment and about a rare complication called ‘eyelid ptosis’ in February.

Also known as ‘Droopy Eyelid’, as per The Cleveland Clinic, ‘Ptosis’ is when your eyelid droops over your eye:

“It usually happens because your levator muscle — the muscle that lifts your eyelid — doesn’t work as it should.”

Depending on the severity of the drooping eyelid, ‘Ptosis’ can limit or block your vision.

Speaking to the camera, Zoe-Rae Hague spoke about getting Botox again, despite saying she wasn’t going to:

“Honestly, guys I am so sad. I went to the same place, but she was so so careful and she said she didn’t put it in the areas where it was going to cause this ptosis.”

“It’s worse than last time, so that’s great. I have had to cancel some things coming up this week. I had shoots, I had other bits to do, but my eye is fully closed pretty much.”

“I actually could cry. It is my own fault, I know it is. I know I said I wasn’t going to get it again, but I just thought like ‘surely it can’t happen again?’”

Hague continued that the ptosis was affecting her vision when driving home.

“I wasn’t going to address it, but I can’t lie to you guys. We’ll just laugh about it together, even though it’s not a laughing matter for me because it is actually my work and my job and it’s not funny at all.”
