Model Jodie Kidd has married ex-soldier turned author David Blakeley this weekend, following a whirlwind romance.
The couple, who met in November, got engaged in secret in January while on holiday in India, marrying on Saturday in the Holy Trinity Church in Plaistow, West Sussex.
The 35-year old kept her dress under the wraps of a black blanket, but kept her look natural, wearing minimal make -up and her hair in loose curls.
Other guests on the day included Jodie’s make-up artist sister Jemma, her brother Jack and Jo Wood. Also attending was Jodie’s two year old son Indio, from her former relationship with Argentine polo player, Andrea Vianini.
Speaking to Hello! Magazine following their engagement, David (34) said:
‘I’ve never felt like this before. I knew it was different from the moment I met Jodie.’
