Missing: Amy Winehouse’s Wedding Dress… And Mitch Thinks It’s “Sickening”

We’ve all been enjoying the Halloween pranks this year, but there’s one prank nobody’s laughing at, especially Amy Winehouse’s father Mitch.

Amy’s father has come out and said it is “sickening” that someone stole the late singer’s wedding dress.

A thief stole the souls singer’s frock and a cocktail gown from the Camden, London home where she passed away.

These items were going to raise money for the Amy Winehouse Foundation and Mitch can’t believe that anyone would run off with them.

“It’s a blow,” he told The Sun.

“It’s sickening that someone would steal something in the knowledge of its sentimental value.

“The house in Camden is being sold so all of her possessions have been tagged, numbered and logged in preparation of storage.

“There was a window of about two days while that process was underway when the dresses could have been taken.

“A few people were involved and there was some coming and going.

“We’re going through everything else to see what else, if anything, has been lifted.

“We are all baffled as to why some of her designer dresses didn’t go too. There were a couple from Dolce & Gabbana worth a fortune.

“Her wedding dress was only a little cotton thing, a hundred quid at best in the shops. Whoever nicked it realised its significance and knew it had an extra value.”

Mitch says whoever stole the dress must realise its sentimental value.

The Amy Winehouse Foundation has raised nearly $2 million this year alone.

The charity funds children’s hospices programmes and drug counselling.

Amy’s friends and family are left in shock that someone could do something so hurtful to them.
