“There are some people in this world who aren’t as nice as others.”

Love Island star Mille Grace Court has addressed some “hurtful” comments she received after posting a bikini photo on Instagram.

The reality star was on a ski holiday in Chamonix when she shared a photo in which she models a bikini. In a recent YouTube video, Millie explained that trolls targeted that photo with abuse, and reminded them that she can see everything they write.

She told her followers: “I was going through my comments on Instagram, and some of you may not think that I do see what you write but I do.

“There are some people in this world who aren’t as nice as others. I’m at an amazing snowy beautiful place Chamonix in France and I love a bikini pic.

She went on: “I take bikini pics as I would in Thailand, so I thought I would taken one in Chamonix because we have a literal heated pool outside and a hot tub, so we went in it afterwards.”

Millie said that the derogatory comments suggested that she needs to “get my kit off to get famous”.

“It is quite hurtful when I read comments like that and maybe I don’t have as thick a skin as maybe I should. But I’ve never been prepared for being in the life that I am, and I’m very very grateful for it, but some people aren’t as thick skinned as others, me being one of them and it’s not nice.

“We all have insecure moments,” she said.

This isn’t the first time Millie has called out unkind comments on social media.

Shortly after she came out of the villa, she wrote that she gained weight as she had stopped a strict diet and exercise regime.

She told The Sun: “It’s so important to not get sucked in by beauty standards of perfection. Even though I’m now happy with the way I am, inside and out, those comments hurt.”
