Miley Cyrus teases ‘something special’ for Hannah Montana’s 20th anniversary

Recently, the Flowers singer teased "something special" for the Hannah Montana anniversary on SiriusXM, and the internet went absolutely wild for it, with fans speculating that the iconic blonde wig will make one final return.

Rumours have it that a Hannah Montana-themed performance is in the works, some fans even go as far as to speculate about a Hannah tour.

Then, a clip, posted by Miley Nation, a popular fan account, showed the blonde wig displayed on a mannequin head as "Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary" appeared on the screen.

Many fans instantly believed the teaser was real due to there being a Disney watermark in the corner.

However, it was later confirmed that the trailer was a fan edit, and no concrete evidence of any performances has been confirmed or announced.

In the SiriusXM interview on July 22, Miley started the rumour mill by teasing "something special" for the anniversary, explaining: "Without Hannah, there really wouldn’t be this kind of… this me.

“I wanna design something really special for it, because it really was the beginning of all of this, that now sits here today.

"It’s so crazy to think I started as a character that I thought was going to be impossible to shed, and now that’s something that when I walk into a space, it’s looked at in a sense of nostalgia or something you have from your childhood."

For many in their mid to late 20s, a Hannah Montana tour would be a genuine full-circle moment, so we can only hope that there's some truth behind all the speculation online.

Hannah Montana debuted in 2006 and portrayed Miley Stewart, a Malibu teenager living a double life as the famous pop sensation Hannah Montana.

Miley starred alongside her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso, and Billy Ray Cyrus.

The show stopped airing in 2011.
