X-Factor bosses confirmed late this evening that Mel B will be returning to the X-Factor tonight for the shows final, having been discharged from hospital.
Tulisa stood in as a replacement judge in last night’s show, after the former Spice Girl remained in hospital for testing.
Earlier today a spokesman had said the Spice Girl was still in a serious condition, but according to a tweeted posted earlier today, the judge has been cleared by doctors to make a return to this evening’s show.

Mel’s final act, Andrea Faustini, was eliminated from the competition last night, after being beaten to the final by Fleur East and Ben Haenow. Mel will now take her place back at the judging table in Wembley Arena at 8pm.
The news comes after a string of tweets from the star’s estranged sister, Danielle Browne, who accused Mel’s husband Stephen Belafonte of lying about her sister’s medical condition.

A statement from Hackford Jones PR said: ‘After being discharged from hospital and following medical advice, Mel B has been deemed well enough to do the show.
‘We’re delighted to have her back on the panel.’
