Meghan Markle has shut down her lifestyle website The Tig.
At the helm of The Tig for three years, Meghan announced yesterday that it was “time to say goodbye”.
Posting a heartfelt message on the website’s homepage, the actress wrote:
“To all my Tig friends
After close to three beautiful years on this adventure with you, it’s time to say goodbye to The Tig. What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun and frivolity. You’ve made my days brighter and filled this experience with so much joy. Keep finding those Tig moments of discovery, keep laughing and taking risks, and keep being “the change you wish to see in the world.”
Above all, don’t ever forget your worth – as I’ve told you time and time again: you, my sweet friend, you are enough.
Thank you for everything.
Xx”
The 35-year-old also posted the below ‘thank you’ on her personal Instagram page, as a shout out to those who have contributed to The Tig during its three-year tenure.
Meghan is soon set to star in the seventh series of Suits as well as continuing her humanitarian work with World Vision Canada and the United Nations.
However, it has been suggested that the move to give up a passion project close to her heart could mean that an engagement to Prince Harry is on the cards.
It could be people putting two and two together and getting twenty but it’s an interesting development all the same.
