Meghan Markle and baby Archie went on a secret trip to America, FYI

Meghan Markle and her son Archie headed to America on a secret trip a couple of months ago.

In September, you might remember that Meghan Markle was pictured at the US Open, supporting one of her best pals, Serena Williams. Serena lost to Bianca Andrescu and the Duchess of Sussex was there together with Serena's husband Alexis and her other close friends, cheering the tennis pro on. At the time, it was presumed that the mum of one had travelled alone but it turns out that baby Archie, four-months-old at the time, went along too. Meghan went to New York and back in the one day, flying back to London overnight and that's a sign of a pretty good friend to be fair. Serena chatted about her friend in a recent interview with Access Hollywood and you can tell the gesture meant a lot to her.

"I really think she's the strongest, literally the strongest person I know and the nicest, sweetest".

She flew all the way with a newborn to see me play in New York and flew all the way back that night, and I probably couldn't have done that."

"That kind of goes to show you what an amazing person she is. That’s just one of the many things that she does for me".

It has been reported that Meghan and Prince Harry are due to take six weeks off, starting any day now, with a trip to Meghan's mum, Doria Ragland, planned for Thanksgiving. Royal fans had thought this would be Archie's first foray into the United States but it turns out he's quite the jet setter already. Not only has the little boy been to America, he accompanied his parents on a royal tour of South Africa, and of course, their summer stints in Ibiza and Nice, where they stayed with Sir Elton John. Archie turns one next May and this rate, he'll have an impressive amount of air miles clocked up.
