Meghan Markle ‘increasingly frustrated’ being told ‘no’ by palace staff

Jade Hayden

Well you would be, like.

Meghan Markle has become incredibly frustrated in the lead up to Christmas due to Kensington Palace’s inability to allow her to to do anything.

Like, anything.

Like, they’re really strict. Like, she can barely leave the gaff unless she’s surrounded by security and advisors, she can’t say whatever she likes unless it’s been pre-approved, she can’t tell her mother about the birth of her unborn child until the Queen finds out first.

Not an ideal sitch, tbh.

It’s hardly surprising then that Meghan’s feeling pretty frustrated as the new Duchess of Sussex.

Sure the job comes with its perks like a nice gaff and Prince Harry as your husband but at the end of the day, nobody wants to be told that they can’t post on social media anymore or nip out for a curry chips or whatever.

And according to People, that’s exactly what’s been getting Meghan down – minus the curry chips bit.

A source told the publication:

“The palace is a magical place, and it is also a place where all you hear is ‘no, no, no.’

“The most difficult job in the royal family is to work with Meghan’s ambitions and make them realisable. She will get frustrated if she is told, ‘You can’t do this or can’t do that.'”

Fair.

The tensions within the palace haven’t been alleviated by the fact that Meghan has been seriously trying to do some good with her new role either.

Instead of just doing whatever she’s been told to do, she’s been having constant meetings with advisors to figure out how better to shape her job so it suits both her and the palace.

Good luck to her anyway.
