Maya Jama and Stormzy have reportedly gotten stuck on the tarmac of an airport in Greece amid air traffic control delays following the news that they had rekindled their romance.
The couple have been enjoying a holiday in Greece recently and confirmed they had gotten back together four years after their split when they were pictured holding hands.
The romantic getaway ended in chaos after their private jet was grounded due to Britain’s National Air Traffic Services experiencing “technical issues”.
A source revealed to The Sun: “Stormzy and Maya flew to Athens by helicopter then got in his private jet – but ended up being stuck on the tarmac for hours because of the flight chaos.
“Eventually they took off but on another jet and got back late last night.”
The couple, who split up after cheating claims in 2019, were spotted holding hands on holiday in Greece.
In photos obtained by MailOnline, the pair look as happy as ever as they stroll through the streets hand-in-hand.
The couple are currently holidaying on the beautiful Hydra Island in Greece.
According to reports, the rapper decided to rekindle his relationship with the presenter after his mum encouraged him to reach out.
A source told The Sun, the presenter “means the world” to Stormzy.
“Stormzy is really open about wanting to settle down and have kids one day and he knows Maya is ‘The One’.
The Love Island host recently celebrated her birthday and this lavish trip to Greece is a gift from the rapper.
