Maya Jama has reportedly been offered a six-figure deal to continue being the host of Love Island.

The 28-year-old has impressed ITV bosses and viewers at home after she took on the reins of the show following Laura Whitmore’s announcement that she was stepping down last summer.

According to The Sun on Sunday, Maya is expected to be paid £750,000 to host the next series.

A source told the publication: “ITV absolutely love Maya — she’s gone down a storm with viewers and is perfect with her fun banter and flirty style.

“Execs see her as part of the ongoing success of the show so are preparing a pay increase when it comes to renewing her contract ahead of the next series.

“She’s one of their hottest commodities and they’re determined to keep her happy. Maya really enjoys hosting.”

The source also added that presenting the dating show is Maya’s “dream job” and allows her to have the freedom of doing other projects.

The news comes ahead of the Love Island Summer 2023 final which is set to take place on Monday night at 9pm.

One couple, however, is set to be dumped from the villa in Sunday evening’s show ahead of the live final, with Whitney and Lochan, Ella and Tyrique, Molly and Zachariah, Jess and Sammy, and Ella B and Mitchel all hoping to make it there.
