The Love Island star no longer feels safe following the incident.
Maura Higgins has been left incredibly shaken after three masked men tried to break into her Essex home. The reality star lives in a gated apartment complex in Essex, but thieves managed to break the gate down last week.
According to The Sun, police were alerted on Wednesday after a gang of men broke down one of the gates.
Three-masked men ‘ripped’ the gate down and then attempted to break into cars.
A source told The Sun, “Neighbours caught it all on CCTV and it was chilling to see three masked men ram through the gates and start trying to break into cars.”

“There are a number of high-profile names in that complex and living in that area. It is worrying for everyone, including Maura,” the source said.
“Maura is upping security on her car and at her home,” the source added.
Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright also live in the area.
