Man Candy: The Monday Shout Out To Our Current Crush

We first noticed Jamie as he skipped, pirouetted and pliquéd onto our screens as a young and enthusiastic male ballerina as his title character part in Billy Elliot.

At first, our soft spot for him could have been likened to that of a fondness for a younger friend or, for the younger of us in the office, the boy down the road you used to fancy when you were small.

But since then our affection for the young English actor has changed.

What do we love about him?

Jamie’s elfin-looks  are a real head-turner, we’re all for a bit of facial hair and his strong jaw is a plus.

First and foremost, Bell looks like a “really nice guy”. The kind that would open a door for you as you get out of the car, the kind that would offer to make you a cuppa when it’s obvious you’re not moving from the couch for the night, the kind that would offer you the last biscuit in the tin. What are they called again? Oh yes, a gentleman…

Another reason our Jamie made the Monday man-candy cut, is his ability to dance. We might laugh when our other half shakes a few awkward moves on the dancefloor but nothing would get our hearts a-beating with passion like a man who could sweep us off our feet and twirl with us across the room. We think our obsession with Strictly is taking over our lives…

And his talents don’t stop there, apparently Bell is quite partial to a spot of baseball too. Nothing like a flair for sports to end top off what seems to be the perfect gentleman…

One more Bell advantage? He’s English and, thus, shall have an English accent. Swoon…

Now a married, 26-year-old man, we should probably encourage  our imaginative minds to wander elsewhere… but anytime Jamie needs a tour of Ireland, or what Ireland has to offer!, he can give us a shout here at the Her.ie HQ…
