Evan Rachel Wood announced in January that she and her husband Jamie Bell were expecting their first child this year and yesterday, the couple attended a hospital in L.A. for their first sonogram.
Photos of the couple’s happy event soon made it to the “Daily Mail” website. However, Wood was not best pleased with their publication.
Wood and her English husband, Jamie Bell, were privately looking at the photo of the sonogram in the hospital car park when the paparazzi took the snaps. The photo was of the young couple smiling at the first picture of their unborn child’s ultrasound.
Shortly afterward, Wood spotted the photos online with the title: “Baby’s First Pic! Pregnant Evan Rachel Wood can’t stop smiling!” In a fit of rage that the actress later put down to “Mama Bear Instinct”, she launched a tirade of tweets against the “Mail Online”.
“Which sick f**k paparazzi hid in the parking lot of my hospital after my ultrasound. I can’t stand this,” the actress began. She followed this with: “You took a picture of my ultrasound photo???!!!! I couldn’t be more furious right now. I want to cry. My child isn’t even born yet.”

Wood even went as far as to threaten leaving L.A.: “That’s my child. It’s not even out of the womb and they are snapping photos of it. I am getting out of L.A. People have no hearts. I have never been more violated by a photographer. That’s the inside of my body and my child. Would u like my soul too? [sic] Nothing is sacred.”
The actress continued: “FYI I was not walking down the street parading my ultrasound photo. That was the roof of a hospital parking garage where you should be safe.”
The outburst of tweets finished with Wood kindly asking the “Mail Online” to remove the photos: “I would like to ask @MailOnline to please remove the photos because they are private medical records, and it’s an invasion.”
Wood later explained jokingly that her Mama Bear Instinct had kicked in: “Man, when that mama bear instinct kicks in, she KICKS in.” “The Mail” have subsequently removed the photos.
