“See you on the Road”

Madonna gave fans an update on her health after a scary ordeal that saw her rushed to hospital just months ago.

The Queen of Pop was found unconscious and had to be admitted to an intensive care unit for treatment, forcing her to reschedule her upcoming tour.

According to reports, the 65-year-old was intubated overnight back in June and the cause was found to be a “serious bacterial infection”.

After being discharged from hospital, Madonna recuperated at her home in New York surrounded by her children.

Today, she gave fans the update they’ve been waiting for; that she is well on the mend and is already back into rehearsals.

She took to her Instagram Stories to share a picture of herself dancing, and wrote: “I heard about what happened with pre-sales to my NEW L.A. shows.

“Good news!!! They are being extended for you! Back to Rehearsals now. See you on the Road!”

Madonna’s message was referring to the fact that some fans didn’t receive a pre-sale code for their tickets.

They were promised that they would be able to purchase new tickets after the original dates were rescheduled.

The Celebration Tour will kick off in London this October with four sold out shows.

Then, the North American leg will begin on December 13th in New York at the Barclays Centre.

There were no Irish dates included on the schedule, so if fans want to catch a glimpse of the Queen of Pop in action, London is the closest bet.
