Made In Chelsea Star Claims Binky Is ‘Brainwashed’ By TV Producers

Former Made in Chelsea star Fran Newman-Young has accused Binky Felstead of being ‘brainwashed’ by the show. Fran has revealed that she feels she has lost her friendship with the reality TV favourite, admitting that she was “very angry for a time” for the effect MIC had on her relationship with former roommate Binky. The pair were last seen on screen together when they were living together, but soon fell out during the breakdown of Binky’s relationship with love cheat Alex Mytton. Speaking about the friendship fallout, Fran said: "She's been on the show since she was 19, so she's sort of been brainwashed really. "I kept saying to her, 'I wouldn't ever talk about you, I love you', but she's known the producers for so long she kept taking their word over mine, which was devastating." Fran made other allegations against the producers of the E4 Bafta winning show, warning new cast members that they "should really watch their backs": "They'll be chewed up and dropped just like I was, and just like lots of others have been. There are some, like Binky and Jamie [Laing], that the producers love. But there are others that just get discarded, and if we're not given decent storylines, what can we do?"
