Luca Bish speaks out about returning to the Love Island villa

Love Island star Luca Bish has given his two cents on whether he'll return to the series, or star in the upcoming All-Stars spin-off.

The 24-year-old rose to fame after starring on the 2022 season of the hit ITV dating series. After splitting from Gemma Owen shortly after their stint on the show, Bish has now shared his thoughts on making another appearance on the series. Following the news of the Love Island Games premiering on Peacock on November 1, many former islanders have had to shut down rumours that they are going to be appearing on the series. Speaking on the Six O’Clock Show, Luca said: “Love Island – when I walked out of that villa, it very much ‘bye!’, like that was my experience done. [caption id="attachment_562834" align="alignnone" width="1120"] Credit: ITV[/caption] “I couldn’t do what Scott [van-der-Sluis] is doing, I’d miss my family too much. “I needed a little holiday as well after [Love Island 2022], just to re-energise myself. It takes a lot out of you. “So one was enough I would say. Love Island and me are done for now, and I don’t think you’ll see me in there anytime soon.” The upcoming series is titled Love Island Games and is set to launch later this year, seeing Islanders from the US, UK, and Australia shows come together for a second go at romance. This time around, the islanders who have already made their name on the show will be faced with team and couples challenges as well as dating, eliminations, recoupling, and new but familiar bombshells. The Sun has now reported that ITV bosses are considering bringing in a major twist for the show, which would see some brand new contestants being brought in. A source told the publication: "Love Island bosses want to make sure they’re out of the ratings slump when winter rolls around for All-Stars."
