They were determined to keep their blossoming relationship under wraps in the early days and it seems that they’re deploying the same tactics for their breakup.
But, US Weekly are reporting that Michelle Williams and Jason Segel called time on their 10-month relationship earlier this month.
Publicity shy Michelle, 32 and Jason, 33 seemed happy together as recently as January, when they were photographed on holiday in Cancun, Mexico with Michelle’s seven-year-old daughter Matilda and her BFF Busy Phillips, but apparently their conflicting schedules are to blame.
The Dawson’s Creek star is based in New York while Jason must base himself in Los Angeles while he films the hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother.

The former flames first started dating in March 2012, but their relationship quickly progressed with the pair even moving into a Brooklyn home together so we’re a little shocked at the news that they’ve split.
Plus, it had been widely reported that Jason and Matilda had formed a close bond with Jason even doing “dad stuff” with Michelle’s daughter by deceased actor Heath Ledger and that the couple were “totally in love”.
We’re hoping that this is just a momentary blip and that the funny man will win his leading lady back soon.
