Earlier this year, after his Strictly win with actress Rose Ayling-Ellis, pro-dancer Giovanni Pernice is rumoured to have dated Tasha. According to an insider, the model first began chatting to Giovanni on Instagram before the pair agreed to meet up for dinner. "Giovanni was persistent when it came to Tasha," a source close to the 23-year-old told The Daily Mail. Noting that the pair had a lot in common due to Tasha dancing background, they said that Giovanni "learned a lot about the deaf community performing with Rose on Strictly, who Tasha really admires." Tasha has been open about her deafness in the villa, telling the islanders she was born deaf on the first episode of the series and is the show's first deaf contestant. The source said they went for dinner at top London restaurants and he was always "offering to send cars to collect her." Never getting the chance to progress, Tasha became involved with someone else and Maura Higgins' ex was on the road with the Strictly tour. But it was Tuesday night's episode that she seemed to hint at her romance with Giovanni, telling Davide: "I've dated Italian before and it's not for me." And as we know, this isn't the first time Giovanni has gone for an islander, dating Maura Higgins for four months last year before splitting in October.
