Love Island's Jourdan Riane has released a powerful statement confirming her split from her co-star Danny Williams. The 24-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday to confirm the rumours that the pair - who were one of the last remaining couples from Love Island 2019 - had split. "I have to respect me first," she began, before explaining that she had "such a great time" in her relationship and didn't regret "the decisions I've made as far as choosing to give someone a chance." However, she added, "I have boundaries." "In a relationship there are things I won’t tolerate. Lack of respect, disloyalty & dishonesty are amongst those things. I know people will come with the 'I told you so', 'you should’ve listened' (maybe it’s true) & more than likely snigger/laugh at my situation," she said. "The reality is my mum raised me to be a strong woman and always give the benefit of the doubt and let people prove themselves to you. Which is what I did. I went into this with a genuine heart & real intention to make it work. The love was as real as the hurt is now. But.... I will continue to grow and love myself first. If it doesn’t feel right, it’s not right." Reports emerged on Tuesday that Danny and Jourdan had called it quits after a number of arguments. Reports say that the reality TV stars fell out when Jourdan received messages from a number of women, claiming that Danny had flirted with them. After initially confronting her boyfriend, Jourdan is thought to have ended the relationship by phone when she continued to hear rumours. A source close to the couple spoke to The Sun:

"Jourdan started to hear rumours he was speaking to other girls behind her back.  She confronted him about it but he just laughed it off.” "Next thing she knows, Jourdan is getting messages from girls saying Danny he's been flirting with them and then she hears he's spent all night partying with loads of random women".
