Love Island’s Charlie Frederick just slammed his ex and new Islander, Lucie Donlon

Ouch.

Remember Charlie Frederick from Love Island 2018? The chap that dated Haley Hughes for a short stint before getting evicted? Well, like the rest of us, he was greeted by the faces of all 12 new Islanders last night and among them was his ex, Lucie Donlon. Lucie is a 21-year-old surfer from Newquay. Admitting that her love life hasn't been the most romantic tale so far, Lucie revealed that nothing lasts longer than 6 months because she gets bored and moves on. The new Islander also revealed that her "claim to fame" was dating last year's star, Charlie Frederick. But, Charlie appears to find it quite laughable that his former flame is heading into the villa, revealing to The Daily Mail that he hopes she has good intentions.

"[She’s] Most definitely not looking for love! She’s only 21! I hope she’s going in there with the right intentions."

Charlie then hinted that she could be doing it for the fame and Instagram boost. Charlie currently has just over 220,000 followers more than Lucie.

"She said it herself. I don’t even need to say she used my name to get famous. You’ve got to do what you’ve got to do to get the Z-list fame."
