Last week we were pretty alarmed when we heard about Shia LaBeouf’s recent brush with the law.
The actor was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing after being disruptive and smoking during a Broadway performance of Cabaret last Thursday evening.
The 28-year old actor was escorted out of a theatre in handcuffs after disrupting the first half of the show and smoking cigarettes.
Concious that the troubled star was thrown out during the interval of the show, Liza Minelli’s rep sent a copy of the Cabaret DVD to Shia LaBeouf.
Speaking to E! News, Scott Gorenstein confirmed he posted the film to the actor on Sunday:
“I figured he may want to find out how it ends.”
Minelli won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role as Sally Bowles in the 1972 film adaptation of the classic musical.
