Lea Michele latest song release Battlefield is an emotional and heartfelt ballad.
‘It’s easy to fall in love, but it’s so hard to break somebody’s heart. What seemed like a good idea has turned into a battlefield,’ Lea sings in the ballad.
‘Once lust has turned to dust and all that’s left’s held breath. Forgotten who we first met.’
She continued: ‘You and I we have to let each other go. We keep holding on but we both know. What seemed like a good idea has turned into a battlefield.’
Lea will release her debut album Louder on March 4 next year and the Glee actress has had a difficult time of late after the death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith in July.
Th actress recently praised her parents for helping through such a traumatic time.
“My mum has experienced a lot of loss in her life and she told me at one point, there is an empowerment that comes with grief – at some point you find it,’ Lea said.
