Never mind having a freaky Friday, Lindsay Lohan has had a bit of a freaky week what with the whole burglary investigation.
But the actress and her fans can rest easy as it has been announced today that she will not be prosecuted for the theft.
The somewhat troubled 26 year old got caught up in police investigations after some items went missing from a house where she had been a guest.
Police ended up presenting a potential felony burglary against Lindsay and two men who accompanied her to Sam Magid’s home last weekend.
According to reports there was a lack of evidence against the Parent Swap star who was never found to be in possession of the missing items.
The actress’ spokesman told reporters: ‘Lindsay is glad this matter has been cleared up so she can focus on her upcoming projects.’
While police will continue to investigate the theft, Lindsay can breathe a sigh of relief that she will not be facing time in jail.
After all she is still on probation after pleading no contest to taking a necklace from a jewellery shop in Venice last year.
Lindsay has been in trouble with the authorities before.
