Well, we have to hand it to Lindsay Lohan – she’s a determined one. Despite the fact that the bad reviews keep on pouring in for her latest project, the actress is apparently going mad to star in her own television sitcom.

According to RadarOnline, Lindsay is turning a blind eye to the awful reviews that her current programme, Liz & Dick, is receiving and is now focussing her attentions on building up her career as a television star.

“Lindsay has asked her manager and agent to look into getting her own television sitcom,” said a source.

“Lindsay feels that the small screen would be a great way for her to revitalize her acting career and that a comedy would be the best bet. Lindsay feels most comfortable doing comedy and it was Charlie Sheen that told her she should do it,” the source added.

Apparently good old Charlie was full of career advice for the actress and told her that sitcoms were an easy way to make money and help her get her movie career back on track.

“Lindsay is loving the idea of having her own sitcom and would love to play someone in a story based on her crazy life,” the source said.

Lindsay, coming to a small screen near you soon, apparently.

Critics have been slating Lindsay for her portrayal as Elizabeth Taylor in Liz & Dick, but the good news is that her father, Michael, has been defending her honour.

After the internet went mad with viewers making snide comments about Lindsay’s role in the television movie, Daddy Lohan took to Twitter and said that “all the critics should find new jobs!”

What do you think ladies? Would you watch a sitcom based on Lindsay Lohan’s life?
