“I’m not giving up”

Linda Nolan has sadly confirmed her cancer has spread to her brain.

The television personality announced the heartbreaking news during an interview with Good Morning Britain this morning.

She told presenter Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley that the cancer has spread.

“Unfortunately, sadly for me, my cancer has now spread to my brain, which I only found out on Monday.”

She said the next step for her is radiotherapy, but she said there “isn’t much help for brain cancer”.

Despite the “frightening” situation, Linda said she will keep fighting.

She told the presenters, “I’m positive. I’m not giving up.”

Following her appearance on the show, Linda praised her fans for being so supportive.

She wrote, “Thank you to everyone else for all the lovely messages. I couldn’t do it without your support. Next stop, radiotherapy tomorrow!”

Viewers praised the former singer for being so strong.

One said, “God love her. She and her family have been through enough, stay strong you will pull through this horrible disease.”

Another added, “I have been a massive fan of yours and The Nolans for the last 44 years (Since I was 3 years old), I am sending you so much love, hugs, strength, and healing prayers.”

Linda was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006.

In 2017, doctors found incurable secondary breast cancer on her pelvis.
