Lily Allen’s father has confirmed that the Smile singer is expecting her second child with her husband Sam Cooper.
Keith Allen revealed the pregnancy on talk show This Morning when asked about the rumours that have been surrounding Lily for a few months now.
“Yes, she is pregnant,” he said when quizzed about Lily.
Lily took to her Twitter last week and said “Hormones getting the better of me I think”, but did not confirm the pregnancy rumours.
The singer gave birth to her daughter Ethel eight months ago
A friend of the couple told The Sun: “I think everyone is a bit surprised they’ve decided to have another baby so quickly.
“But they are great parents and absolutely devoted to Ethel. The pair of them are just delighted they’ve got another one on the way.
“They’re such a happy family with Ethel. This is really great news.”
It is unsure when the family will welcome the new baby.
