Riverdale’s Lili Reinhart pays tribute to Luke Perry with a heartbreaking post

Yesterday, we learned the tragic news that actor Luke Perry had passed away. Luke suffered a stroke in his home last Wednesday evening and was rushed to hospital. However, Luke sadly passed away Monday morning at St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank. According to his rep, "Luke was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiance Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends." And now, Luke's former co-stars are paying tribute to him. Lili Reinhart acted alongside Luke Perry in Riverdale, and last night she took to Twitter to share some words about the late actor. She wrote: "I'm finding it hard to grasp that he will no longer be around to give long hugs and share his wisdom and kindness with all of us." "I’m thinking of his family. His children. I pray for them to heal and find peace in this devastating loss." Lily also shared some words on Instagram stories. "It's strange to see the world move on, when someone you love gets taken away from you."   "And the small circumference surrounding you is stuck. Frozen in a moment of loss." "Yet the people passing you are moving at full speed." The story went on, and ended with a poignant line: "I pray he's silently moving in tandem with us, guiding us through the waves even when we can't swim."
