Liam Payne has revealed that part of the reason Zayn Malik Left One Direction was to spend more time with his nearest and dearest.
During a recent radio interview, he told hosts Dave Berry and Lisa Snowden that it was something that the rest of the band understood.

He said: “Sometimes you have to move on because you’re not enjoying what you’re doing as much as you used to.
“He wanted to spend time with his family and his missus (fiancée Perrie Edwards). That’s cool with us.”

Between this and their speech at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night, during which they thanked Zayn, it seems everyone has put the split behind them.
