Lea Michele has penned an emotional tribute to her late partner Cory Monteith on the 10th anniversary of his death.
The actress shared a beautiful photo of her and the actor on Instagram in honour of Cory’s special day.
In the touching post, Lea remembered the special memories they shared throughout their relationship.
“Hey you. 10 years. It feels like only yesterday that you were here and yet a million years ago all at the same time,” the Funny Girl star wrote.
“I hold all of our memories in my heart where they will stay safe and never forgotten,” she continued.
“We miss you every day and will never forget the light you to brought to us all. I miss you, big guy,” she added.
“I hope you found Taylor up there and are playing the drums together,” the mum shared.

The couple, who met when they were filming Glee, started dating in 2012. The couple were together until Monteith’s untimely death in July 2013.
The actor struggled with substance abuse from the age of 13. Cory Monteith entered a drug rehabilitation centre when he was 19-years-old, but was doing well in his recovery. He was also admitted to rehab months before his death in 2013.
However, the actor sadly relapsed and died from an overdose on July 13th, 2013. Cory passed away from an overdose of heroin and alcohol. His body was found in a hotel room in Vancouver.
The actress honours her Glee co-star on his anniversary every year.
Lea Michele said they hoped to have children together one day, but their dream was cut short.
She previously told Glamour, “We talked about a lot of things. We talked about children and what we would look like when we grew old, who would be fat and how we would stay thin.
She continued, “We talked about where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do. We were done. We were it.”
