Charles Drury has been charged with assaulting TOWIE star Lauren Goodger the day after their daughter’s funeral.
The 25-year-old builder assaulted the mum after their baby Lorena died in July 2022.
Their daughter was born with her umbilical cord around her neck and sadly passed away despite the doctor’s best efforts to save her.
The couple buried their baby girl on August 3rd, 2022. Drury then assaulted the grieving mum on August 4th. Lauren was taken to hospital with facial injuries.
Drury has reportedly been accused of controlling behaviour throughout their two-year relationship.
The Sun reports that he would hide the keys to her car so she couldn’t go out. The publication also revealed he assaulted her “over the course of their relationship”.
He has also been accused of causing “actual bodily harm”.
Drury pleaded not guilty to the charges and has been granted unconditional bail until his trial in July.
He also shares daughter Larose with the former reality star. The former couple are reportedly co-parenting.
