Things have been tough for the pair following their split in February.
Laura Anderson has revealed that her ex boyfriend Gary Lucy is in “two minds” about being at the birth of their first child.
The Love Island star said that although Gary is very “welcome” at the birth, he’s unsure if he’ll make it.
Since the split, it has been tough for Laura and Hollyoaks actor but she hopes they can keep things civil for the sake of their unborn child.
Laura who is now 27-weeks pregnant, told OK! Magazine: “He’s currently in two minds [about attending birth] so I’ve asked my mum as well, as you are allowed two birthing partners.
“There are a lot of emotions going around for everyone, so it’s difficult. Being able to be civil from now until the birth and then after is the goal.”
Earlier this month, Laura revealed that she did want to make things work between her and Gary but admitted that things are now just “too chaotic”.
She said: “I wanted us to reconcile and I wanted things to work out, but because of things I found out since then, and the fact nothing has been discussed or resolved.
“I think for now I’m trying to just be positive and think about the baby and be strong because everything became too chaotic.”
Laura also debunked rumours that the pair split because she wanted to move to Scotland and he didn’t.
Previously, the reality star said she was “very upset” when Gary revealed the sex of their baby back in March “without her consent”.
However, even though things have been tough, Laura seems determined to maintain a good relationship with Gary for their child.
