Lady Gaga has always adored her fans but one little monster got the chance to meet the superstar in person at last weekend’s concert in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium.
Lucky Oran Murphy, who suffers from spina bifida was thrilled to meet his idol after security at the stadium allowed him backstage access.
Dressed as Gaga’s alter ego Joe Calderone, Oran and his mom Laura Rossborough traveled to Dublin to attend the gig after missing the opportunity to meet the Born This Way star at last year’s MTV European Music Awards ceremony in Belfast.
According to the Irish Mirror, Oran’s mom said: “Oran was devastated that he missed his chance to meet her so we knew we had to try everything we could to get him to meet her this year.
“When we found out she was playing in Dublin we decided we would go down and see her show.
“Oran dressed as Lady Gaga’s alter-ego Joe Calderone. The stadium was huge and we were quite near the back. Oran couldn’t really see but a nice security guard moved us down to get a better view.
“During the concert we heard that some people from the standing area would get to go backstage which was disappointing as Oran can’t go into the standing areas.”

Oran loves Lady Gaga so much that he even had his wheelchair specially adapted with a picture of Gaga on the wheels.
After the concert Oran’s mom, Laura, spoke to a woman about meeting the superstar in person. The woman then fetched a security guard, who in turn notified Gaga’s management team.
“When he saw Oran dressed as Joe Calderone and in his Born this Way wheelchair he said he would see what he could do.
“I couldn’t believe when he came back and said she would see us. Oran was so excited.”
The pair were then admitted to Gaga’s dressing room.
“I was shaking, it was so exciting,” said Oran.
“She really liked my wheels and I asked her if she could sign them. She said yes and wrote Lady Gaga on them.
“I told her I had come dressed as Joe Calderone and she gave me a big kiss,” he gushed.
Her.ie loves when celebrities treat their admirers well and we think Oran has to be one of the luckiest boys in Ireland after smooching the Queen of Pop.
