Kristen Stewart has Some Regrets About her Public Image…

We all know that being a celebrity can be hard and that the pressure of constantly being in the public eye can have a serious impact on your life. This is why we weren’t surprised when we heard that Kristen Stewart has regrets about how she’s been handling her public image lately.

The Twilight actress has admitted that she feels she has been “clumsy” with how she’s been appearing to the public in recent weeks.

The actress, who recently split from long-term boyfriend Robert Pattinson after it emerged she had had an affair with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, opened up about being in the spotlight during her first over shoot for the UK edition of Vogue magazine.

“I know that if you haven’t thought about how you want to present a very packaged idea of yourself then it can seem like you lack ambition. But, dude, honestly? I can’t,” said Kristen.

“People expect it to be easy because there you are, out there doing the thing that you want and making lots of money out of it. But, you know, I’m not that smooth. I can get clumsy around certain people. Like if I were to sit down and think, ‘Okay, I’m really famous, how am I going to conduct myself in public?’ I wouldn’t know who that person would be! It would be a lot easier if I could, but I can’t,” she added.

Kristen claims she can't portray herself as a media-friendly package.

Kristen also spoke about her latest role in the new film adaptation of On The Road, the classic novel by Beat Generation writer Jack Kerouac. Kristen admitted that she could relate to the wild, liberal lives of Jack and the other Beat Generation writers.

“That world back then, it just seems freer to me than anything I could ever touch and I’m fully nostalgic for it, even though I wasn’t even alive then,” Kristen said.

“It’s the loyalty aspect of it all. I love being on the periphery with a group of people who have the same values that I do. People who don’t get off on fame, who just like the process of making movies and thrive,” she added.

We wonder if Kristen spends her free time reading the gossip about herself and her ex, Robert Pattinson, as well?
