Bumping into your ex is never fun, but we imagine it’s a lot worse if your ex just happens to be Robert Pattinson and you’re the one that cheated on him, eh Kristen Stewart?
The Irish Independent reports that K-Stew has apparently cancelled an appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards. Why? Well she was supposed to be appearing at said awards with Robert Pattinson, although given the fact that he is currently refusing to speak to her, it’s probably a good idea that she keeps a low profile for the time being.
Kristen was due to present some awards with Robert at the awards ceremony, but according to The Mirror, she’s too ashamed to face him after she publically admitted to having a “momentary indiscretion” with Rupert Sanders, the married director of her latest film Snow White and the Huntsman.

If Kristen had agreed to present the awards at the show, it would be the first time that both she and R-Patz had been seen together since the news of the cheating scandal broke.
So what’s Kristen going to do instead? Well, currently she’s rumoured to be heading to the Toronto International Film Festival to promote her latest film, On the Road.
