Kourtney Kardashian confirms you won’t see her in KUWTK that much anymore

She's taking a big step back.

After plenty of speculation that Kourtney Kardashian was leaving Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the 40-year-old has cleared the air and well, it's not good news for fans. Speaking during a recent interview alongside her sisters on Entertainment Tonight, the eldest Kardashian explained that she's taking time away from the camera to have more time with her kids.

“I just decided to spend more time as a mom and put more of my energy there, but I’m not saying goodbye.” “I think you’ll have to see more of it on the new season, season 18,” Kourtney continued. “It isn’t airing yet, but it’s being filmed. Currently, in this room.”

Kourtney co-parents her three children, sons Mason, 9, and Reign, 4, and daughter Penelope, 7 with her ex and co-star in the show, Scott Disick. Kourtney and Scott were together for 10 years before they called it quits. Both of them then went on to date new partners, with Scott's girlfriend, Sofia Richie making cameo appearances in the show. Kourtney however, has confirmed that she's currently enjoying single life after her two-year relationship with model, Younes Bendjima which ended last summer. But although Kourtney is stepping back from the show, for now, sisters Kim and Khloe believe it won't be for long.

"We feel like it’s a revolving door, so Kourtney might leave this week, she’ll be back. “They all come back,” Khloe explained.

Well, here's hoping. In previous years both Rob Kardashian and Kendall Jenner have taken a backseat on the show. Rob doesn't appear in KUWTK anymore while Kendall makes the rare episode appearance.
