Kim Kardashian says Kanye wanted to name daughter Chicago something very, very different

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their third child, Chicago, earlier this year.

And while the name originally came as a surprise to many fans (OK, well, just about everyone actually), it turns out that there was actually a lot of debate over what to name her. Kim spoke about the struggles of finding the perfect name for her daughter during a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which aired in North America earlier this week. She told sisters Kourtney and Khloe that she had "scoured a map" to try and find the perfect name for her youngest daughter - and was briefly a fan of names like Italy, Milan and Rome. https://www.instagram.com/p/BnucT8HlycW/?taken-by=kimkardashian Then, she looked for "biblical and zodiac"-inspired monikers, following the names of her other two children, North and Saint. Eventually, she decided against all of them - and wasn't too keen on Kanye's suggestions, either. She told Kourtney:

"I got the most ridiculous ideas, like Queen, and Vuitton and This. "Kanye’s cousin is like, Miracle, and I’m like, Miracle West?! That’s like Miracle Whip and that’s the biggest stripper name of all time. "And then he’s like, 'What about Precious?' Clearly we don’t have the same taste in names."

"Everyone asks us where we came up with that. "Kanye is originally from Chicago and the city is really connected to his memories of his mom."
