Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly exploring surrogacy following 12 unsuccessful months of trying for a baby.
The reality star, who gave birth to her first daughter North West in June 2013, has always been very open about her fertility struggles on her reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Kim’s daughter North is 23 months old.
An insider apparently told Us Weekly: “Kim has been undergoing IVF. It’s causing problems with her body.”
The source added how the power couple “may start to pursue a surrogate in June. They will do surrogacy over adoption.”
Kim and Kanye married in May 2014.
In an interview with Matt Lauer back in March, the 34-year-old opened up about her fertility struggles, saying: “I would like to hold out a little bit longer, and still try.
“I still have hope, so I’m just going to keep on trying. Never say never. I mean, we haven’t talked about adopting.”

The source reported that Kim is eager for North to have “a sibling close in age… just like she is with her sisters.”
Speaking of the toddler, Kanye’s other half posted this adorable snap of their daughter on Instagram this week.
