'The Kardashians' star will reportedly star in 'The Fifth Wheel', and will join an all-female cast as the lead.
Not only is Kim continuing her acting career, but the SKIMS founder is also going to be part of the production process for the film, according to Deadline.
The screenplay, written by American writer Paula Pell and actress and comedian Janine Brito, is said to see Kim play the eponymous 'fifth wheel' in the movie.
Pell is known for her 'Saturday Night Live' experience and for working with Tina Fey on '30 Rock', as well as writing the comedy 'Sisters' starring Fey and Amy Poehler.
As of yet, the media mogul's co-stars have not been revealed.
'The Fifth Wheel' was at the centre of a bidding war between five studios, with Netflix emerging as victor.
The upcoming film has become one of the first big packages to be picked up by a studio following the months-long SAG strike.
While Kim has little experience in the field of acting, in true Kardashian style she continues to progress and establish herself in the industry by stepping into a role in a feature film.
Outside of reality TV, her works include voice acting in two 'Paw Patrol' films and more recently, her role in FX’s 'American Horror Story' seaons 12 as PR extraordinaire Siobhan Walsh.
The 'SKKN' founder starred opposite acting names such as Emma Roberts, Matt Czuchry, and Cara Delevingne in the series.
