We’re thinking of Kim and her family during this tough time.
Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall has shared that her mother Shane has passed away at the age of 93.
The actress shared the news with a series of photos on Instagram.
In the caption she wrote: “Shane Cattrall 1929 – 2022. Rest in peace Mum.”

Kim was supported with a number of messages in the comments.
Stephen Dunn, her co-star on Queer as Folk, penned: “Sending all my love.”
Paul O’Grady wrote: “Oh I’m so sorry Kim, lots of love to you.”
Alan Carr wrote: “Sorry darling. Sending you lots of love.”
Kim was close with her mother, and she had shared a photo of her back in May to mark Mother’s Day.

At the time, she wrote: “Happy Mum’s Day Mum. 93 Years young.”
Prior to that, she celebrated her 93rd birthday with a post on Instagram which read: “Happy 93rd B’day mum! We’re so lucky to still have you here with us.”
News of Shane’s death comes just five years after Kim’s brother Christopher passed away. We’re thinking of Kim’s family during this tough time.
