Comedian Patrick Kielty is to show his fiancée Cat Deeley how the Irish do it as he plans a romantic weekend getaway for the pair…at Electric Picnic.
The Irish funnyman is planning a short festival break for the pair at the Stradbally festival as he will attempt to see if he can mix work and pleasure.
The Co Down man has been signed up to headline the Saturday night at the comedy tent.
A source close to the comedian told the Irish Sun;
“Electric Picnic is Patrick’s only gig in the Republic this year so he thought it would be a great chance to show Cat what it is all about.
“The couple have spent a fair bit of time together in the North but this would be an ideal opportunity to hang out at a festival here.
“They’re so inseparable at the moment she might even be the one introducing him on stage!”
The pair reportedly got engaged at the beginning of this month. They are set to travel from LA where Cat has been building a solid TV profile for herself.
Patrick, 41, moved into Cat’s €1.7 million Beverly Hills home in May after the couple were spotted for the first time together in February.
The TV star admitted she had been seeing Patrick a lot longer than anyone thought. She told US talk show host Kelly Ripa, “I am no longer a single lady. I am dating a really old friend of mine. I have known him for ten years. Ladies just like to take their time. Now I have finally seen the light.”
